I love Alexander very much so I enjoyed reading this book. I love the Battle of Issus, because Darius Ⅲ ran away with his treasures. This book ended to this question, “Is Alexander worthy of the title “great”?” I think Alexander is “great” emperor, because he respected the culture and people which he invaded. However, he killed many people and he didn’t respect his soldiers’ advice, so I can’t say he is great clearly.

I studied about Ibn Battuta in history class and I want to read this book so much! My history teacher said that Ibn was traveling a lot of place. I was very enjoyed that Ibn’s travels are very wonderful. I was surprised that many of king gave a lot of treasures easily.
