ヒロインに終始イライラしたが、最終的には正しい人と結婚したのでよかった。 登場人物の中にただただ可哀想な人がいたので、不憫に思った。

It was great story. I could imagine the ending of the story but I enjoyed the process that how Gabriel get married with Bathsheba who is a beautiful and clever farm manager. Bathsheba fall in love with many kind of man, but at the end of the story, Bathsheba realized that Gabriel always be with her and he is the most important person. The lesson is, important things or people are nearby.

Barhsheba がモテモテ過ぎて可哀想だった。男を見る目がなくて、男同士の嫉妬で殺人事件になってしまって、怖かった。最初からGabriel と結婚したら良かったのに、と思った。逆に、Gabriel が良い人過ぎてBarshebaにはもったいないとも思った。

Books for Senior 2のおすすめ本にあったので、チャレンジの一環として読んでみた。表紙の絵がかわいらしい。Tess of the d'Urbervillesと同じ著者とは思えない軽いタッチの恋愛ものだった。「ええっ、そこはそうならないよね？」と思うほど、主人公の女性の行動は突っ込みどころ満載。

It was about a woman who was loved by three person. A poor shepherd(a person whose job is to look after sheep), a rich farmer and a soldier. In this story, many things happened among them. At last, my expectation was right, but you don't know how it will end until you reach last page.

一人の女性をめぐって、二人の男が戦う物語。 最初から、予想がついてその通りの結末だったので余裕をもって読めると思います。 語数は多いですが、あまり気にせず読めるはずです。
