記憶力に障害のある女の子が一人の男の子を探しに旅に出る話。すべてのことを覚えていられず、腕に未来の自分に向けてたくさんメッセージを書いている彼女が、唯一覚えていたことを頼りに旅に出るが、、、、。とても読みやすく、わかりやすいお話だった。

Flora had a brain disease. She forgets everything, so she writes things on post-it, notebooks and her hands. One memory she keeps in her mind makes her start on a journey to the Arctic. I hope she would be happier in the future, not only by being taken care of others, but by choosing what to do on her own and living her life.

今起こったことを覚えていられない、という特殊な障害を持つ17歳の女の子、Floraをめぐる物語。彼女を取り巻く人々のまなざしが温かい。読後感もさわやか。
