I was impressed Odysseus’s way of love his wife. He said “Your mother’s cleverness is one of the things I love about her.” I think here is a reason why he strongly refused Calypso. Calypso is a beautiful goddess and loved Odysseus very much, but she was not intelligent but too emotional. I learnt that having strong hope and keep endeavoring are very important to survive a difficult situation.
