I often hear it said that we must care for the earth, and I thought I knew a lot about it, but still it made me surprised to learn what a big effect global warming has on us. I had heard about Tuvalu, the disappearing country, but I never knew it was so serious a problem.(Parts of its capital is now only 10 centimeters above sea level!) Surely, we must do something now. One of the new ways I learned in this book is "carbon offsetting". It is a way to travel by plane, keeping the planet cool. First, we find out how much carbon dioxide our journey will produce, and second, we pay to plant enough trees to use all the carbon dioxide that the journey made. To stop traveling may be difficult, but in this way, we can care for the planet as well as travel in a comfortable way. I will try to be good for the planet in the ways that is suitable for me.

This book about environmental issues in the world. Main issue is global warming. Read this book,I thought we should be careful to recycle garbage and don’t use a car as much as possible to don’t put CO2 into the air.
